Wurlitzer Stereo is a family-owned business founded by Jay and Gary Wurlitzer. The store opened in spring of 1986 in Sudbury, MA. Since then, the store has had 2 major expansions and moved to Boston Post Road (Rt. 20) in Marlboro.

Shortly after relocating to Marlboro, Gary's brother Chris Wurlitzer joined the team. Chris is now the Installation Manager and manages all aspects of car audio/video, alarm and remote starter installation. In 2001, Gary became sole proprietor of the business.
